Zingermans Deli Awarded LEED Gold

The renowned Zingerman’s Deli on Detroit Street in Ann Arbor has been awarded LEED Gold certification in recognition of the sustainable building practices and materials used in constructing the renovation and addition to their original building.  Phoenix was the construction manager/general contractor for the complex project, which required several phases timed to allow the uninterrupted operation of the busy deli.  The Zingerman’s partners worked as a team with Mark Hiser as Phoenix Project Manager and Chris Love as Superintendent, in conjunction with Ken Clein of Quinn Evans Architects to develop this high-profile and very successful project.
